Cement
From limestone quarry and coal yard to the kiln, the truck and the building site.
New capacity is being built near buyers rather than at the quarry: CRISIL expects about two-thirds of the additional capacity to come from split grinding units placed closer to consumption centres, which cut freight costs and take one to two years to build against three to four for integrated plants.

Semiconductors
From design files, wafers, gases and fab tools to packaged chips inside phones, cars and servers.
Building a fab in India still means buying most of it abroad: Fab Economics estimates import dependence of more than 85% of fab project costs and around 50% of wafer manufacturing costs today, falling to roughly 68% and 30% by 2030.

Two-Wheelers
From steel coil to the showroom floor and the service bay.
The electric shift has not handed the market to new entrants: in FY26 traditional ICE OEMs held more than half of the electric two-wheeler market, TVS Motor led it, and Ola Electric, the earlier leader, fell to fifth place.
